Along the solitary night I watch her breathing

soft and low until the dawn of day appeared in the east

when her spirit took its flight to a home beyond the skies.

Today I taught school.  

Mr. Briot's child was buried she died from being burnt five weeks ago.  

The snow is still on the ground ...
